Developing a school policy

In WA, School Drug Education and Road Aware (SDERA) has developed Getting it together: A whole school approach to drug education which supports schools to develop School Drug Education Guidelines, including procedures for managing incidents and providing intervention support in the school context. 

Victoria has also developed a comprehensive manual Volatile solvents: A resource for schools which contains policy guidelines, background information, strategies for dealing with incidents of use, community programs and classroom activities. See also Education-related resources in the Resource Library of this website for further examples of VSU school policies and guidelines.
